A new standard in hunting gear—stealth, structure, and intent.

INTRO
Rooted in a legacy of land stewardship, Geist was founded by Billy Busch with a deep reverence for the outdoors. Inspired by the Swedish word for “ghost,” the brand set out to help hunters move silently and efficiently in pursuit of peak performance. Armed with sketches, early samples, and a bold camo concept, Geist partnered with WERX to create a truly technical, category-defining hunting collection, from camouflage to cut to construction.

GOAL
The vision was ambitious: build a modern hunting line that blended stealth, structure, and innovation. Geist wanted to reimagine hunting staples with elevated performance, creating products that would rival the best technical apparel on the market while staying grounded in authentic hunting culture.

PROCESS
Over three years, WERX collaborated with Geist to develop a complete technical collection from the ground up. We pushed intelligent design at every level—engineering the lightest, most breathable waterfowl waders, designing low-profile removable gaiters for secure fit, and building a tree-stand backpack packed with features for streamlined mobility. Each product was prototyped, tested, and refined to balance rugged durability with quiet, efficient performance.

RESULTS
The Geist line emerged as a holistic offering for the modern hunter—27 pieces spanning apparel, gear bags, headwear, and packs. Every detail reflected bold innovation and craftsmanship, from apparel to accessories, and the collection quickly stood out as one of the most intentional new entrants in the category. With its launch, Geist established credibility as a brand built on performance, precision, and purpose.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?

Today, Geist has anchored its presence with a Ventura-based facility that combines showroom, archery range, and community hub. This space has become a direct extension of the brand, immersive, experiential, and rooted in connection with hunters. With its first full collection live, Geist is positioned to grow as a modern standard-bearer in technical hunting gear.
